Public Transportation

Think positive! You can compare the public transport in Margem Sul with a Stock Chart. There are ups and downs. Sometimes it’s complicated and you wish that there was somebody who knew better than you. This guide will help you.

  • First: There is no “network” of companies for public transport. You’ve varios companies with varios tickets and varios prices. Don’t worry about it. You simply got to accept!
  • Second: The Public Transport doesn’t always have logical rules. There’s for example the last bus of TST leaving the ferry-harbour in Cacilhas 5 minutes before the last ferry arrives.
That’s a pity – but nevertheless you’ll have great moments with the transport here. For example the train FERTAGUS is more in time than the national train of Switzerland.
  • Third: Get prepare also for visitors! It’s a lot easier if you already bought the tickets for your visitors. So they are not getting stressed and confused and you can just give them the tickets.

In Margem Sul exist five transport companies. Every company is different and has its own system.

Bus:

Train:

Ferry:

Metro:

Tip: Go and try the public transport. To taste wine and experiment with the public transport ist more or less equal. You can find a very good tasting wine – or a train which is always in time.
